Lies. Those finicky webs of deceit. Firing off of unsympathetic tongues like bullets shot one after another destroying all that is within their path.
Adalia has always known the State to be the one beholder of the truth, the community of solace that protects its citizens against the desolate world that lies created. For lies cannot thrive in a society where the only source of communication is transferring your thoughts, talking illegal. Taught at a young age that the great leader Pyrce is the only source of truth, Adalia lives her life never questioning the State’s certainty, but after her sister is revealed to be a radical, a talker, a liar the only truth Adalia knows becomes blurred, forcing Adalia to decide for herself where the truth lies.
