Tomboy stirs people's opinions about sexuality. Clothes, colors, and mannerisms do not determine one's sexual orientation, but there is an assumption that tomboys-especially the masculine presenting ones-are or will be lesbians.

Mckenzie Henry was everything you read about tomboys- the clothes she wore, preferred guy friends, adventurous, she laughed and not giggled, was not obsessed with social media, etc. Everyone believed she was a lesbian, nobody bothered with the difference between lesbians and tomboys. Her not having a boyfriend (and not obsessing about having one like other girls her age) didn't stop people from assuming too.

But was she a tomboy really? Was she attracted to guys or girls? Or both?.
