In this day and age, people are born with pure white wings. Over the years of your life your wings change color based on how bad of a person you are and have become. Bella is a 17 year old girl who falls in love with a 18 year old young man, whose wings are as black as space. His name is Connor. Connor also fell in love with Bella, who was unlike any person in their village because she was human. The small town they live in is lit only by torches. The time being set in the medieval times, Bella and Connor feel the need to run away, only to find that humans dislike the villages with Praepes.
