edit (7/6/23): bro what is this story? plot execution sucks fr 😭 A hard-working widow, Charlotte Wormwood, lost her daughter in a tragic accident. 20 years later, she stumbles across a homeless girl who appeared to have the same birthmarks as her deceased daughter! She appeared to have knowledge of her daughter's past life! Charlotte tries to solve the mystery of her daughter's death and the peculiar girl. She gets trapped in a morbid time machine which travels her to 1945, the year on her daughter's death, to try to save her from the events. Could this all be a coincidence or just some weird hoax? ----------------------------------------------------------------- Everyone has there own secrets. Some are dark and morbid, even when everyone in your town talks about it. You swore to secrecy that they wouldn't tattle, but you sometimes can't trust them, even if something goes terribly wrong that the truth has to be uncovered.... Warning: contains violence in some scenes. I have no interest or intention in actually killing someone or something. This is just a book I like to write and criminal minds in the '40s-'60s got me thinking of writing my very first book (which is this one). Also, some sensitive topics include religion, so viewer discretion is advised. Enjoy reading this book. Thank you so much on reading this! I appreciate it! A/N: this is my first story ever. 🌚🌝 y'all this is my first story ever. pretty crap, if I do say so myself. so I apologize if the story and it's events is pretty confusing. It's super cringe and weird, because I made this a bit ago when I wasn't even a teen yet. ➪ started: 4/12/21 ➪ published: 4/14/21 ➪ finished: 10/11/21
Elventale (Book #1 in the Of Elves and Gods Trilogy) by uplift
22 parts Complete
In a time long gone, everything was perfect. There were three species that ruled the world: Elves, Gods, and Humans. They lived in a perfectly balanced world for thousands of years until an unfortunate turn of events caused the elves to be banished to the trees, the gods to the skies, and the humans to the grounds. Inevitably, the two greater powers began a cataclysmic war. Today, thousands of years later, is when things start to take an unexpected turn. Victoria Fugo is an orphan. Her parents abandoned her at a rundown orphanage as a newborn, and she has never known any love except for that given by her stingy caretaker, which is next to none. She has a single friend, and spends most of her time reading fairy tales and daydreaming. Cerritulus is the odd elf out. Donned in colorful shorts and kimonos with weird patterns, she's an outcast of all sorts, considered strange even by her own parents. Her total obsession with myths and history unsettles even the most hardened treasure hunters. Certus is a teenage heartthrob. He's intelligent, gorgeous, athletic, and humble. While all of the other elves, male and female, throw themselves at him, he brushes them off and prefers to disappear into the background with a book. Tom is Victoria's only friend. Her mischievous, attractive, extremely intelligent friend. His strong skill is coming up with elaborate schemes and flirting with every person who ever passes through the orphanage. When these four are strung together and get tangled up in a myth as old as time, they soon discover that there is much more to old legends than just a few elves and a prophecy. Think you know magic? Think again.

They felt they are being pulled by an imaginary force and the strength of this pull is too much that cannot even hold onto anything. They are lifted off their feet and pulled back to somewhere they do not know. But they are trying to hold onto each other's hand." As soon as they step into their hometown, they face things. From learning about the death of a family member, to strange news about family, about their childhood homes, to learning things about their past that they never knew and even finding someone to love. Strange occurrences followed them, but the six friends did not want to back down from figuring out what is true and what is not. After all their past is what shaped them to be how they are now. As the six friends continue their journey to finding truth, they are faced with some challenges. Some normal ones and some very bizarre ones. How can one day's event cause so much uproar? How can one day when the six friends remember having a detention change to them being missing as everyone in town tells them? Read to find out how the six friends-Ivory, Lauren, Zoey, Ethan, Reed and Cassandra- navigate through the strange things they find to the path of finding the truth. Who said reuniting with old friends is always nice and comforting? These six friends would differ as they reacquaint themselves with their hometown, Shadowland. She was the light. He was the darkness. One couldn't exist without the other. Edmund Pevensie knew that he was a king. He knew that he didn't deserve to have adults mock him like they did. He had lead armies. He had won wars. And yet, they all saw him as a teenager. Because he was. But a long time ago, he wasn't. Diana Montgomery waited patiently for the day her royal friends would come back to Narnia. The girl was immortal, a gift bestowed upon her by Aslan himself. Though she saw it as more of a curse. She would outlive all her friends. She would be labeled a freak. But Narnia was hers to protect while the High Kings and Queens were gone. One day after school, the Pevensie siblings find themselves back in Narnia, but one thousand and three hundred years later. All that they know is gone until they stumble across Diana who has let Prince Caspian take charge of the Narnian forces to defeat the Telmarines and restore Narnia to its former glory. Disclaimer: I don't own any of this except for my OC Set in Prince Caspian This is heavily based off of the movies. There will be dialogue from The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian and the plot of the book follows the plot of the movie with my own little twists. Side note: for story purposes, the characters ages have been upped slightly to fit with my plot. In the first book, the ages were as follows: Lucy: twelve Edmond: fourteen Susan: sixteen Peter: Seventeen Diana: fourteen In Prince Caspian the ages are as follows: Lucy: fifteen Edmond: seventeen Susan: nineteen Peter: twenty Caspian: eighteen Diana: she doesn't even know her exact age
