The second book in The Blessed Chronicles follows the journey Aardriyah, Rachida, Ven and Old Man Teme have set out on to discover more about the abilities of the hidden mind blessed kingdom of Rovik.  While Aardriyah and Ven are busy learning their new found blessing, Rachida finds herself excluded and treated like a constant threat due to her fire blessed nature.  She decides to take matters into her own hand and with the help of Lady Lasara, she uncovers the grizzly and dark truth that has allowed the Rovikian people to survive as long as they have without any interruption from the outside world.
