Ever since the Jester is defeated by Dorothy Gale everything in Oz was back to normal, everything was alright and dandy until Scarecrow has tons of images that he thought that he might be dreaming and even some flashbacks in his head until he realize that it wasn't a dream but rather a hint... a hint to lead him to the truth of his true past before he was awoken by the pole, met Dorothy, Tin man, and Lion.
