Just one encounter can change a person's life, altering it in a thousand different ways. The little coincidences and small miracles that have to occur for this to happen, can only be described as magic. That, or destiny. You know, the romanticized destiny where stars have to align just right, sealing the deal with fate. Bullshit.

Callie Haring doesn't believe everything happens for a reason. In fact, hearing that too-often spoken expression causes an involuntary eye roll. Nonetheless, Callie has lived her entire life never believing in it, knowing nothing could ever change her mind. Little does she know, her normal life of busting tables at her aunt's cafe as a 22 year-old college student, is about to take an unexpected turn. She's left wondering if meeting him can be be pinned down to a stupid chance encounter or an act of fate. After all, he isn't just a regular customer. His face is plastered on practically every billboard sign in San Diego.

Follow Callie's journey of discovery, hope, doubt, romance and maybe just a little bit of fate. Who knows, maybe every person has an unfinished story, as they unknowingly wait for a certain miracle to walk into their lives.
