In another life, this moment could've been a killer scene for a romance movie.

There up in her window was a pretty girl, and on the streets below her was an undeniably handsome young man holding something up for her to see -- a boombox, like in that 80s romcom movie perhaps.

But, this is not a movie.

So this is rather embarrassing because I was instead holding up a big composition notebook, where its sad contents are written by a Sharpie running low on ink, asking her if she has a hair dryer.
