In a desert-ridden Earth, three soldiers on a standard water scavenge find a relic of the Planet That Was before the apocalypse. Knowledge of the past brings hopes for a brighter future as they dive further into the history of the arid planet.
Title is still TBD, this is just what I'm going with for now.

Once found out, the mutants turn to their real form. They become beasts of legend. Serpants that dwell deep in the sea. Lizards that grow in size and take flight to the skies.
