However all of this seems very far from reach as she trails through the typical Monday mornings and the weekends which seem even worse. Those weekends are when they go out into the night. Those long nights are when she wishes that she could go to bed without locking her door, or walk out of school without worrying about who might be waiting, or that her brother didn't start a gang, because that is when all the trouble seem to begin...

"I may not remember much, but I do know that I had the best time with you last night." Charlie drops his hand from his mouth and lifts his head to stare into my eyes, pushing his hair back from his face at the same time.
