Evelyn Aculiac is the queen of Varsillia and she's dead.

Well, dying. Maybe? No one is really sure.

After two hundred years of imprisonment it's apparently her job to stop a war that her jailers started.

Years of resentment, anger and memory is hard to push down, but for some reason, Evelyn believes the weight of everything rests on her shoulders. So, Evelyn has to fix everything and be perfect in the process, right?

At least that's the plan until her life is invaded by a slew of potential very attractive friends and maybe lovers.

Maybe after a lifetime of knowing only lonely darkness, someone will come and pull her into the light.

With her world, her heart and her death at stake, Evelyn must traverse the rocky road that is her fate.

Eblis survived years of torment in the hands of Hybern, an enemy continent disrupting the peace of Prythian and the Human Realms below it. She suffered things many wouldn't be able to handle, and lived in the shadow of it's king for five fear-filled centuries. When she gets word that the King of Hybern had been killed, she finally found her chance to escape and return to the Night Court, the last home she ever remembered. The Spymaster of the Night Court returns from Hybern as well, with news of an uprising from the newly anointed Queen and Heiresses. Doubtful of Eblis's true loyalties, he continues to watch Eblis in fear that she'll take the family he had and rip it apart. As he goes, he picks up the pieces of her bloody past and puts them together to form the broken Illyrian female. What he finds, what he discovers, what he feels, is forever disrupted. Till Death Do Us Part

36 parts Complete

Skylar pledged her life to protect her homeland, but she didn't expect that she would have to resort to marrying the king's brother and using her wits instead of a sword. ***** Skylar is not a typical noble lady. Captain to her own company, she feels more at home with a sword in hand than in the ballroom. Her whole life gets turned upside down when she is forced to marry Lord General Gawyn Gryphonheart for the alliance. The vicious political machinations will be the least of her problems because a far darker threat is looming in the east. Skylar, with her fighting experience, might be the only one who sees it coming. If only her husband trusted her enough to heed her advice. Can she fulfil her role as a graceful and obedient wife at the royal court and convince the noble families to unite against the monsters believed to be merely a legend?
