This is a collection of random, sweet & saline poems I wrote since day one of becoming obsessed into poetry. This is mostly about struggles, life, heartbreak, and, of course, love. _______ Her childhood years She never tasted sweet Never been given a candy Unlike how children were She grew up, Knowing only the taste of Saline in her tongue And then this only man Gave her a cube of sugar Like a child, she was excited And hurriedly swallowed it But still, it doesn't taste Anything sweet at all. - rose stan
