In a town just by the shore once lived a man. Amongst the town he was known as a maniac, an outcast and lier. Babbling on and on about beings of the sea capturing him and using him for their own bliss. No one believed him, not even his wife. No one except a little girl. 17 year old child of the now supposed deceased Averin knows of a terrible truth of her father's disappearance. All members of the town think the same of her as they did her father, forcing her to be 'treated' for seven years. But what happens when a handsome young man appears out of nowhere in her quaint little town? Will she finally be brave enough to explore beyond the little safety of her home for her father or will she stay and fall for the handsome and familiar male? Mermaids are fictional beings of the sea.
