It's hard for Wendy, John, and Michael Darling to think of a time where they were safe.
They all thought that would change when Peter Pan arrived at their home in London, promising freedom and happiness.
However Neverland is not as safe as its seems, and Peter Pan is not as fun as the stories tell.

Wendy sniffled and wiped her eyes. "The worst thing is: I was only there for a month, and he had this much impact on me."
Captain Hook shook her head. "Wendy, he abused you in every way possible," she said.
"Well, not every way," Wendy tried to defend.
"Physically? Didn't you say he slapped you?" she asked.
Wendy nodded.
"Didn't you say he forced you to do things sexually you didn't want?"
She hesitated, but nodded.
"Didn't he manipulate you, tear you down, and use your brothers to make you do things?"
Wendy looked down and nodded. She felt like she was on trial.
"He hurt you Wendy," Hook said in a more calm tone. She placed her hand on Wendy's, and looked into her eyes. "But you're not a victim."

(A Twist On Peter Pan) “I’ll kill you, you hear me? I’ll kill you!” My face was red as I fought against the ropes that bound me to one of the masts. “I’d like to see you try Alison, because you’ll fail. Peter has failed, and look at him now.” He gestured to Peter, who was on his knees and was getting punched and kicked repeatedly by a large group of pirates. “And why don’t we watch your precious Will.” He grabbed my chin and forced me to look at Will, who was suffering the same fate as Peter. “Oh and don’t forget about your dear little Lost Boys.” I heard a scream and looked at Aaron, who was being hit by a man three times his size. “Stop! He’s just a little boy, please. You have me, you have Will and even Peter; we’re whom you want. Just let them go, you’ve won.” I sighed as the wicked man grinned at me. “Very brave Alison, very brave indeed. Well men, she said let the boys go, so let them go!” He said and I went pale as I realized what I had done. “No! Stop!” I screamed but it was too late. I watched with tears in my eyes as a pirate picked up Aaron and set him on the plank. I started to thrash around in the ropes, and felt them loosen a little bit. Come on! “I never liked children.” Hook said absentmindedly as Aaron started to cry, and looked at me, and I smiled at him. “Think of the stars Aaron, think of the stars.” I whispered as his scream rang out through the boat, just as I broke through the ropes and attacked. An unwanted marriage, Hook's newest dastardly plans for revenge, an evil released upon the island, blossoming feelings, and a past threatening to be remembered. Together, these things will make Pan rethink the morals engrained into his entire existence. After spending a month in an orphanage boys start disappearing in the middle of the night. One night Wendy decides to sneak away to find out what's been going on meeting a curly red headed boy named Peter Pan. He offers her to come with him to a place called Neverland. As she and her brothers arrives to Neverland she finds out that a war is brewing between Peter Pan and his rival Captain Hook and that Peter Pan has a secret that he doesn't want anyone to know...especially Wendy Peter Pan had always only taken boys who most desperately wanted away from the world they hated. And one night as he's talking with one of the boys a girl with her golden hair barge in and thought she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen. The next night he came back to watch her a little bit hoping that she would be the "mother" of the boys who were on Neverland. He offers her a chance of a lifetime to come with him but, she says only if my brothers can come long. And as they get to Neverland the battle that was brewing with his rival became stronger and put the girl named Wendy (who he started to like) in more danger then he thought. In which a boy who thinks he controls everything meets the girl who actually does. --- Peter Pan is king of Neverland, a mystical island of his own creation. His Lost Boys serve as his troops and have been his only company for the last millennium. Until his shadow brought a girl to Neverland, by the name of Wendy Darling. But she's not the one this story's about. Why? It's simple. Because she's dead. She broke Peter's heart, so he killed her. Only he and the Lost Boys know what happened the night Wendy disappeared, and Peter means to take the secret to his grave, assuming he ever dies, of course. If the Lost Boys know what's good for them, they will too. None of the other creatures on the island have any idea of what became of the one girl who had ever set foot on Neverland. However, what at first seems to be a siren with a know-it-all attitude threatens to change all that. She knows exactly why Peter's heart is shattered. But what she wants to do with that information is, for the very first time, is absolutely unclear to Peter. That doesn't sit well with the Ruler of Neverland. And whatever doesn't sit well with Peter, he either figures it out or kills it.
