Kelsi Mannox was in her bed one night, and trapped in a cold gray room the next morning. Her kidnapper has also taken her brother Rowan. The only way out is to complete a puzzle without a box cover to help with only a day to complete it. With Rowan's life on the line, can Kelsi manage to finish the puzzle and escape with her brother?
**I literally got the idea while working on a 1,000 piece puzzle that's killing my eyes and slowly driving me insane.

caroline wakes up in a metal cage/ box thing, soaring up an elevator shaft looking thing. she doesn't know where she is or what happened, but she wakes up coughing water, gasping for air. she doesn't even remember her name at first. as the box comes to a stop, the cover opens up and light pours in. she squints her eyes at the harsh brightness before coming to her senses. her fight or flight insticts kick in and she stands up, almost falling over in the process. random people come jumping onto the box, opening it and letting her out. as she sees a certain blonde boy with an accent and a limp, she remembers her name. caroline. But "middle of nowhere" meant by an enormous, looming forest. And "sweet" meant the town held more secrets than it's residents. She is given handcrafted brain puzzles made specifically for her by an enigmatologist named Marco Mestiere. To give the girl a challenge, Marco has to challenge himself to create the most complex designs he can construct. He has been studying her as much as he is being allowed. For years he has been watching her complete those puzzles with no effort. Finally, Marco decides to push his limits and discover more about her that was being kept from him. The government was hiding more than he thought from its own employees. His brilliant patient at the facility was not normal. Marco continues to dig to find out more about this mystery genius and what more the people he works for have been hiding. ^~^ The puzzles used in this story aren't jigsaw puzzles.
