Meet Bexley Wilder. The fun, spunky, yet quiet and sensitive Texas girl. Having to grow up with your grandparents after your parents divorce can be rough on a girl. Having her siblings against her and living with either of her parents can make it even worse. So of course she finds solace in her best friend Tiana. After High School was finally over, Bexley and her bestie vowed to have the best summer of their lives, staying in Tiana's family's beach house in Wilmington North Carolina. No dysfunction, no responsibilities, no drama, and no parents.

Insert Tate Warren. Poster boy for troubled past turned partying beach bum. Now that he's not living with his alcoholic of a father, and he's out of High School he can finally live the life he wants. Living with his best friend has its perks. All he has to worry about is college, parties, surfing, and girls. Not necessarily in that order. Both Tate and Bexley think they're gonna have the summer of a lifetime before they get back to everything that real life beholds. But of course that is before they run into each other, literally.

Love at first sight. Maybe. Summer of their lives. Most definitely. They just don't know it yet.
