The Bucketlist

Amelia May Kostopolous and Noah Gabriel Williams have known each other without seeing for far too long, but one place can bring them together and offer them 13 days of adventure.

"You.. Noah, I know it's only been a day of this friendship or whatever you want to call this, even though I've known you since I was six." We both laugh a little at that. "But you are an Θεοφάνεια, an epiphany."

"Why do you say that?" We're walking up the grass-lined steps to my front door.

"I don't know, because an epiphany is when something dark illuminates, and I guess what I thought you were was one thing but today I've seen you in a new light. Like when one star lights up a small area, and you have to collect some more to light up everything. I think I collected a few of your stars today."

We reach my door and I finally gather the courage to look at him again with my hand on the door handle.

"I hope you find a few more stars, I'm not sure anyones ever tried to catch any of them, and I.. I hope I can grab a few of your stars as well." His words alone grant me a few more of his vulnerable moments, which I think I have decided are my favorite.
