Izuku Midoriya was a kind kid. He had a best friend and they hoped to be heroes together, a profession that stops the people using the power of their names for evil, by using their own power.
But his 5th birthday changed everything.

So, uh... life's been kinda upside down lately. One day I'm at home with Mom, and the next, I'm stuck living with my dad-yeah, the Yamada Hizashi, better known as Present Mic. Didn't exactly plan for that, but here we are. Still trying to wrap my head around it. Can't say it's all bad, though. Turns out, co-hosting a radio show with your pro hero dad at ungodly hours of the night is a pretty decent distraction from... well, everything else. Honestly, it's kinda fun. The way we go off-script half the time, roasting villains and throwing shade at the news-it's chaotic, but in a good way. Keeps me from thinking too much. Dad's-well, he's loud, dramatic, and somehow a total dork and a hero at the same time. But he's also... warm. Genuine. The kind of guy who makes you feel seen, even when you're trying real hard to blend into the wallpaper. It's weird, having someone actually there. Asking if I've eaten, if I'm sleeping okay, if I wanna vent or just scream into a mic at 2 AM. I guess what I'm saying is, things are messy and confusing, and I have no idea what's gonna happen next. ...What makes them all heroes? What makes the villains actually villains? In the end, everyone commits violent actions, but the heroes are praised while the villains are suspected of the worst. The teens that bully people but have a goal to become a hero, the villains who wanted to be good and tried but were treated like vile beings, only leading them further down the wrong path. There is no good in the world, only black and white.. Midoriya Izuku has been a vigilante since a young age. After around 5 when he started loosing the emotions people would feel everyday he found that the only time he actually felt emotion was when he was in fights with his peers. When he found out he was quirkless, everything turned black and white for him. On the way back from the doctors office the Midoriya family got into a car reck. Both parents died and before the ambulances or paramedics came, Izuku ran. From that moment forward he trained himself physically and emotionally, he could take a bullet wound like a hit, he barely felt anything. By the time he was 14 he was the world's most well known vigilante but no one knew what he looked like, he was that good.
