Lesia Mirri never wanted to be a Jedi. The rules of the Code didn't sit well with her restless spirit. Lesia resisted their teachings and attempted to close herself off from the Force. In a final attempt to teach her, the Jedi Council assigned her to Master Ki Adi Mundi. During the final months of the Clone Wars, Lesia found herself growing close to her master and she became more open to what he had to say. When the Purge disrupted life as she had known it, Lesia was thrown headfirst into a lawless galaxy. Armed only with the little knowledge she'd bothered to learn, Lesia struggles to make a way for herself. Once, she had shunned the Jedi. Now, the galaxy needs them, needs her, more than ever. The way of the Mandalore is not an easy path to follow, but it is all Nakoa Sen has ever known. As a child, he found himself being raised by a Mandalorian covert, one of the first who called themselves Children of the Watch. Nakoa later chose to venture into the galaxy as a bounty hunter, to provide for his new Clan. He stumbles across Lesia Mirri and eventually recruits her help for a mission. He quickly learns that while he devoutly follows his code, there are others who abhor rules of any kind. Nakoa soon finds himself wondering if he truly knows what path he wants to follow, and if he can actually break the code that his people hold so dear. Warning This book, while being a work of fiction, still contains real elements and deals with the subject of war. Kylo feels his father's hand upon his face the watched as his father falls into the abyss. "Your journey nears its end." A sinister voice now whispers, and a flash of blue light reveals a fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers filling the vastness of space as blue fire leaps between them. A powerful red laser of an unseen weapon obliterates the surface of a planet. Shrieks, whispers and screams and then the sound of a lightsaber igniting. A fiery red saber but behind that saber is Rey, her hand twitches and the saber becomes a double-pronged staff. A maniacal evil laugh cackles. Kylo woke with a start and sat upright on his bed. Written after the first trailer dropped and finished before the film was released. Contains references to previous films, novelisations and comics. For years, Anakin and Leia wander throughout the galaxy, dodging the Empire and searching for a greater purpose. Meanwhile, PadmΓ© raises Luke while working with Bail Organa and Mon Mothma to lead the fight against the oppressive Galactic Empire. Anakin is constantly tempted by the Dark Side. PadmΓ© struggles to help the Rebels succeed. Their children mean everything to both of them. The story also features other characters we all know and love, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Han Solo, and Boba Fett. Most of the story takes place 7 years after Revenge of the Sith.
