Young Ezra Bridger-Jarrus has lost his parents in a car crash and barely survived himself! The kid is sent to an orphanage until one young married couple found him talking to police officers. It's simply because he's been abused by the owner of the orphanage, who soon gets arrested. And so, the couple did the best they could do for him, which would be to adopt him! Years later, this same kid, now a teen, goes to a high school and does the best he can.

Rich high school girl, Sabine Wren, tries the best she can too, and also has a huge crush on Ezra. This crush has developed since the 6th grade but both Ezra and Sabine were too shy to tell each other. Sabine would be with Ezra, yet has a problem. That problem is Wedge Antilles. Wedge started dating Sabine in the 8th grade but only for her money. Sabine also finds out that Wedge might be cheating on her but doesn't believe her friends until she goes into an alleyway where she'll ultimately learn the truth.
