What just happened??

I was just walking down the road, on a very normal, average Thursday, walking the very same route I did every morning on the way to school. Exiting my home, walking down the road and following it down until I reached the main road. It was when I reached this road than I realised that I had forgotten something. I raced back home, and knocked on the door. raP rAP RAP. My mum opened the door, trying to run curlers through her hair. "What do YOU want?"
"I've got a feeling that I've forgotten something for sch..."
"I checked your planner, you've forgotten nothing. You have got all your homework, your PE kit is at school, all your books are packed and you have all your stationery. That's eveything. Now GO!! You'll be late!!"
And with that she slammed the door in my face, so I had no other option than to go.
