For Camille Michaels, her world collapsed when her father died. To make matters worse, she's been sent to live with her mother, a woman who, up until that point was about as real to her as the tooth fairy. The concept of blood being thicker than water was a myth for this surly teenager until her plans changed and she must now learn to navigate this new world that she's thrust into without the support of the only parent that she's ever known.
