The year is 2016. SHIELD has fallen, and all of their files have been released onto the internet. Jacqueline "Jack" Evanscombe was just Google surfing when she saw it: Her parents' names. Upon further investigation, she learned that her parents' murder was no accident, but an assassination by HYDRA, completed by a special operative called the Winter Soldier. 
Now, Bucky Barnes lives carefully at Avengers Tower, with the others. 
But Jack wants the Winter Soldier dead. And she has just the means to do it: An old friendship with Tony Stark, and a good, old passion for watching things burn.
