A story about two brothers.

The Tabashi Clan/Family had a war with the Aoi Clan, soon declaring an alliance between the clans without further obligations. The battle was fearsome and filled with gore though they all made it.

The Tabashi Clan gave birth to two kids. Both were males, they were named Himato and Nagatae. Together, fate intertwines both of them.

Himato is the older brother, therefore, Nagatae is the younger brother. Himato has to both take care and watch over Nagatae while the parents are off on duty protecting the lives of the country. The father, Eido Tabashi, died when sent on a task to hold up the borders of the country meanwhile going to war with another country. This was their 5th war after 3 years of battle between clans. The clans all formed an alliance that made a country with a kingdom in the middle. What happens to the siblings from then on?
