This is a mix of the Arkham games and The Dark Knight trilogy 'cause I love Scarecrow/ Jonathan in both. Much like my other fanfics, this was originally an x oc fanfic but I enjoy making others happy by creating these x reader fanfics.
You didn't think you were too strict of a rule in your kingdom, you just had a strict sense of justice. But your brother wanted to be king, so he made the citizens frightened of you. Planting seeds of doubt in your subjects until you were overthrown and exiled; they thought sending you into the mysterious portal would kill you, but it sent you to a different dimension. You land in Gotham City heavy with grief and betrayal.
