Haley has basically been raising her little brother since she was a child. Living with a drug addict mother has taught her to be an adult before her time, for her sake and for Samuel's. Her life is a series of constant hurt and painful experiences and leaves her struggling with depression and thoughts of suicide. That is, until she meets Ray. The light in her life. Until that dreadful Monday morning. After a tragedy befalls Ray, Haley has to go on a journey of self discovery, acceptance and maybe even forgiveness.
