As a young Princess, Arabella never had a childhood. She did not run and play with her friends. She did not climb trees or swim in the lake. She was taught to be proper, she was taught how to be a lady, and above all, how to be a Princess. Until the young son of the blacksmith changed everything. He taught her how to have fun, he taught her how to be a kid, and he taught her how to be free.
Once her overbearing Queen Mother finds out, Arabella and her five Ladies are sent away. Upon returning after ten years, the home Arabella left is not the home she remembers.
She must fight to keep her kingdom, she must fight for her people, all while two men fight over her heart.

Ten years later, she was suddenly called back by her father to return to the castle, unnaware that she has been gifted as a 'present' to the Grand Duke of Emerade in exchange for peace with Albelone. Being sold off to an old man who was infamous for his cruelty, especially with young girls, Annora decided to escape from the Duke's clutches before her wedding. But her plans were interrupted when she was captured by a strange man while trying to escape. Taken to an unknown place as a captive, will Annora manage to escape hell and rise to power again, or will this be the end of her life and revenge ? ---------------------------------------------------------------- Annora looked into the man's eyes as she pressed her sword on his neck and asked, " Will you be my accomplice or my enemy? Your answer decides if you live or die here." The man looked at her deeply with a tender gaze and closed his eyes. " My sword is yours...my men are ready to kill at your command... and their leader is also yours. Use them as you wish." . . . . . "If all you want is revenge, then hold my hand, and you shall seek what you wish for." "If you ever find yourself alone, turn around and look back, you will always find me standing behind you. " "If this world never gave you love and warmth, then hide in my arms, and I shall love you and protect you with my life."

The Crown Princess of Forewood Kingdom, Victoria, was said to be perfect in all the things that she did. Which was an exaggerated lie, of course. She was hardworking, but she was also mischievous, always looking for a chance to escape her guards and sneaked out to work through unconventional means. When the rebels-turned-kingdom Lirsk breached the peace treaty between them, war broke out. But Lirsk Kingdom was by no means fair, and countless underhanded matters was done in the military compound, pointing to a cause: there was a traitor among them. With the ever-wary, wrongly-accused young Major Dev, they tried to uncover the mystery: who was the traitor that caused thousand deaths? [Book One of the Guardians of Forewood trilogy.]
