Roberta Starling and Sloan Ferris are 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦.

Roberta - or Birdie, as she's usually known - is trying. She really is. She tries and she tries and she tries and goes nowhere - she's so far ahead of the curve that it's becoming a sphere.

But one thing that always remains constant is her hopeless, one-sided crush on a certain Sloan Ferris.

Sloan's about ready to move to the moon - his parents pay no attention to him, and his town hasn't got much to do. So what does he have to lose?

Everything, apparently. And Birdie might be one of them.
