Mykie Russel never wanted the spotlight. She always avoided attention from any school she went to. Her father is a traveling marketer and analyst for a software company. She has learned the best way of avoiding attention, averting it to someone else. Her last school things turned out a little differently.
Abbie Haven was the girls Varsity basketball star of West Brook High, really in all of Buffalo. Everyone respected her, even though a lot of people didn't agree with who she dated. The boys basketball team was very protective of her, so if anyone wasn't already scared of Abbie they are now.

They moved from Arizona to California. About 1/4 into her junior year, Riley had to go to a new school, and make new friends. She didn't really care about having friends though, as long as she was able to play soccer, she would be okay. Soccer had always been there for her, when her mom died, when she didn't have anyone else, when she was in a bad mood. It was always there for her to play. She didn't need anyone else. That changed when she met Brooke Eckmann. Brooke is also a junior in high school, and is the varsity teams goalie. When they first meet on the field, it was something different. She couldn't stop thinking about her. It was something both of them had never felt before.
