Hazy light from outside filtered into the high windows of the cabin, particles of dust floating otherwise unseen between sun rays. The cabin smelled like firewood and well-used furniture as they set down their things, tired and sweaty after a long hike to reach their destination. "Ugh...can we take a nap yet?" Slipping off her shoes at the front door, the backpack fell off her shoulders with a thud as she took in the sight of their vacation spot. "Maybe later...I want to explore this place first!"
