Roulette, a highly-skilled markswoman of the Decepticon cause, does not fight for Megatron's self-righteous claim to a non-existent throne, but rather against the caste system designated upon the citizens of Cybertron. At the same time, she grows weary of the war. For not only has it claimed billions of lives throughout the galaxy for thousands of years, but it has also claimed the life of Roulette's sister, Silhouette. Ethan Fuller, a young human from the city of Haven, Texas, coasts through his life after a horrible fire costs him the lives of his family and leaves him scarred. With his parents gone, he is taken in by Darnell Fields, friend and business partner of Ethan's late grandfather whom he lovingly calls Pa-Paw.
