There are two things Penelope Ricardo didn't expect on her eighteenth birthday. One, she didn't think her own pack hated her so much and Two, she didn't know she'd be respected and be living in her packs enemy's, the Night Riders.

"I sat by the fire in my pjs with Carter, I shivered when I looked out of the window. The rain hadn't stopped for the past thee hours. I hate Novembers. We sat in silence as I watched the rain plummet at the window panes. I liked silence. It wasn't an awkward silence, with Carter in the room, it was a nice silence. I gripped the tartan blanket Carter had given me, maybe the Night Riders aren't that bad after all."
Penelope gains a whole new life she wouldn't of discovered if she hasn't of done some disobeying at the wrong but right moment.
