Camilla is a girl with a dark past, and when she can't afford to pay rent, her best friend Jacob asks her to move in with him. Just when Camilla has finally gotten the guts to tell Jacob about her feelings, Jacob's job forces him to move to the other side of the world, pulling the two apart.

Camilla finds herself torn between two men, both of them hiding secrets of their own. But Camilla has her own secret, one she must never tell nor show anyone, this secret the very thing that tears her apart from everyone else, this secret that keeps her from all that she ever wanted, this secret the reason she must always run from everything.
