Amy Rose is in love with Sonic, she would do anything for him. But, what would happen if she stopped chasing Sonic?

It's been years since Amy has been going after Sonic's love. She has done many things for him in the past as well, Sonic was tired of her chasing him, regardless, he still would hang out with her. But one day, everything changed. Ever since Sally Acorn came into the picture, Sonic paid less attention to Amy. And one day, Amy saw Sonic and Sally together on a date. Amy got heartbroken, she did everything for Sonic, and yet he still fell for Sally. So Amy stopped going after Sonic, which he noticed and started missing her. Amy then went into deep depression and had anxiety (Which is called stress if you have them both) and walks onto a path her friends never knew she would follow.

Can Sonic save Amy from this mental sickness and a huge problem, or will he lose one of his most trusted friends in a horrible way?

She still loved Sonic and wanted him to just once tell her he loved her, but she didn't like that Sonic came to save her when she had it handled. She would now yell at Sonic that she didn't need him all the time, yet Sonic never quit saving her. All of this was a never ending cycle until one day when a man had asked Amy to serve as a midwife to his wife who was in labor. When Amy and Sonic broke into another one of their arguments Amy had wished that for once Sonic would understand how she truly felt. The same man who asked Amy to help his wife would then appear before her and grant that very wish, but it was not what she had expected at all. She had been turned into a chao. The man had somehow disappeared and Amy tried desperately to look for him, but she found Sonic instead. Sonic ends up taking her in, giving her all his love and attention, and giving her the name Mio. This was all that Amy could ever want, but this didn't feel right to her. She enjoyed her life as Mio but doesn't want to stay. Will she ever return to being Amy and continue to be alone, or is she destined to stay as Mio and have the love she always wanted?

This is my first story, so don't forget to comment some mistakes. I also want this story to be in character, so if its turning away from a character, please let me know. "You don't have to do this Amy" he pleads, eyes glossy. I turn to him, my face blank, "You're right, I don't have to do this" I try to sound confident for myself and for him but I can feel my eyes begin to water and the sobs make their way up my throat "but if it means saving you, I'd do anything." A single tear runs along my cheek as I give him a weak smile but all I saw were his beautiful emerald eyes filled with anything but joy but instead filled with worry, sorrow, fear. It ached to see them filled with such negative emotions. Before he could protest or before I had the chance to change my mind and run into his arms to feel his warm embrace, to forget everything that was actually going on, I jump. I knew there was no other option for me.. for us. As I feel gravity pull me closer and closer to the ground, I could feel the tears slide down my face. I shut my eyees tightly and hold my breathe, preparing for impact. SPLASH! The world around me is freezing and I feel as cold as ice, but my skin burns and almost feels as though its on fire.. I suppose frozen fire still burns.

Sonic and Amy have a friendship that can go against anything thrown at them. While on a mission searching for a chaos emerald, a mysterious jewel is discovered. Unaware of its abilities, it can undo friendships. Once friends have now become enemies and the only way to undo it is by finding the jewel that vanished within a blink of an eye. Sonic and Amy have to work together despite different points of view and along the way, feelings are developed along with small portions of their memories of being friends. Little do they know that a major decision will have to be made upon finding the jewel that can change their relationship forever.
