Luz, an Alpha from the human realm, finds herself in the Boiling Isles. Now that she's here, she's taken in by Eda and approved to learn magic under Eda's wing while making new friends along the way. Everything is fun and simple!

Until it's not.

She meets Amity and her entire life is turned on it's axis. How will Luz deal with both the emporor and her emotions? Are things more complicated than they seem?

11/24/22 Yea, I know this hasn't been updated for quite some time, but I assure you I'm still working on it. It's not abandoned, I've just been busy, unmotivated, and taking things one at a time. There's more detailed notes on AO3, but this gives the general idea. Sorry everyone, I'll hopefully force myself to finish this sooner rather than later.
