Abigail has been raced to do two things; kill and breath. Life is short. It's full of tests, mistakes, errors. For some, life is beautiful. For others, it's that one thing tying them to reality, that one thing they tried to end. Some live to worship gods, artists, parents, friends. Others to worship themselves. Life is that time that we spend on this earth. That time that we learn who we are, or what we are meant to be. Life is what teaches us to be mature, responsible. It teaches us that not everything is black or white. Not everything is good or bad. Not everything is meant to be. And not everything is what you want it to be. Life is full of challenges that will forever shape us. You grow through life. You live it to the fullest and enjoy everything it has for you. But to Abigail life is that thing that she takes away. What doesn't allow her to sleep at night and what doesn't let her enjoy all those things others do.

"Life is like a sketchbook. There's a beginning and an end. When you start, your drawings will start simple but become more detailed over time. Some are filled with color while some are black and white. Some were easy to create while others took more hard work. Some pages were bent and scribbled while others have been torn out completely, never to be seen again. Some people appreciate your art while others tend to criticize. Your sketchbook is your life. The question is.. What art will you create?" Jayda Joseph lives in a very strict household of Christians. She only pretends to be faithful to her religion, so her parents do not find out what really goes on in her life. Jayda wants to listen to her parents, but she cares about her freedom more which leads to a frightening mistake that completely changes her life. She meets a boy by the name of Charles. He is what brings her life to hell, and a new member to the family. Jayda learns the hard reality of what the true definition is of "consequences."
