Death & Delight

This “Death and Delight” collection for The Atty’s 2012 is an extract from my other two compilations published simultaneously on Wattpad, under the titles “Decades of Death” and “Decades of Delight”. (Feel free to peruse them in the Poetry section , and please comment freely - your input will be valued).

To provide the right context for this Atty’s selection of 10 poems one should view the full introductions covering each of the two compilations. In short however, "Decades of Death" is about the awful horror, brutality and cruelty which mankind has created in this world we live in - our only home for now. “Decades of Delight” is however about love and beauty and parades how life should be. Both compliations are works in progress (In real life and in my poems) and I will continually be adding to them (hopefully with your encouragement).

This Atty’s 2012 competition is my “maiden voyage ” into the world of poetry publishing – although I have played around with poetry and songwriting for years.
