Iris and Clove were forced to compete in the 75th annual hunger games quarter quell. They were spilt up when Beetee came up with a plan that would kill the other tributes. But as soon as Iris heard a cannon panic set in as she searched for Clove only to find the wire by itself. In search of Clove a unexpected explosion happened sending Iris flying, darkness overcoming her. She woke up in a hovercraft with loads of people around her that she didn't recognize and didn't answer her questions. So now she is left in the darkness all alone with questions in her head. She didn't have very many friends because people said she looked mean and would kill Them if anyone even tried talking to her. So most of the time she was with her mom doing chores. She lost her dad at the young age of 6. She never thought her life would take this big of a turn.
