We are born in blood. It's red colour is the first we see, it's sickening iron taste the first we taste. And just like that, we end in blood. Blood is passion, it's our fuel, the thing that drives us forward. 

But, there is a kind of creature that never has the feeling of blood running through their veins, a creature who doesn't need a heart or water.

The drained.

They can't feel heartache or pain, love or passion, since they don't have a heart to feel with. Everyone thought so, I did to.
