The Seers

Her whole life, Jansen was told she was special. Of course, every adult thinks that of their child, but what had been hidden in the Mayweather family tree was different. Any person that shared the blood of a Mayweather had a... Unique talent, in better words. An ability. A specialty. A mutation. 
To put it simply, Jansen Mayweather, along with every Mayweather descendent, could see dead people. It wasn't a gift, like most people think it is. It was a burden; it was a barrier. It was what stopped Jansen from being normal, and she wanted nothing more but that. 
And, with the new, interesting group of people she'd recently met, she felt the closest she'd ever been to normal. Well, at first, she did. Now, she's stuck in a spiral of unravelling secrets, unshakable fears and threats, and uncontrollable feelings.
