Somewhere there is somebody for you.

At least that's what people keep telling me.

My name is Kat in a Junior in high school, and you guessed it. Boy trouble...

As I round the corner to the kitchen I bump into somebody and about fall on my ass, but something caught me. Or someone.

I look up to see a pair of piercing green eyes staring down at me. His tall demeanor almost swallows me whole. I look at his facial features, and it seems like I cant breathe.

"Um, hello?" He says, in a low tone.

"Oh, hi, um who are you?" I stumble to find the right words.

He smiles at me, but doesnt reply. I feel his eyes racking over my body and I realize he still has his hands on my waist.

I look down and I feel myself blushing. He slowly pulls his hand away, never breaking eye contact.
