Rain has his whole life shook when he wakes up from a car accident, inside of a hospital! His mother is nowhere to be found, the doctors aren't telling him anything, and on top of all that there are voices in his head that just won't seem to go away! He has no idea who's it is, or where it came from, or how he could hear them when for so long he couldn't hear anything! All he knows is that, those voices kept him fighting through whatever he was going through. Those voices help him forget about how everyone he seems to meet or let into his life walks out!

Axel is mean, cold, he doesn't like people. He honestly hates everyone, besides his 6 and 9 yr old brothers, and a certain someone who has caught his attention. He has taken care of his brothers since his no good of a mother adopted them high off her ass. His father was a monster who he'd never let around his brothers again. They were always at his hip, when they wasn't they were in school. With how close they are, they're often mistaken for his sons!

Rain needs someone who can show him that not everyone leaves!

Axel needs someone who accepts him for him and doesn't try to change him!

Unfortunately they both have been failed kinda when it came to their parents. They were both left in the dark with a lot of stuff and having to figure it out all on their own might just be the hardest thing they have yet to do!

Jason Williams didn't think going out to dinner with his family was going to be any different than usual. Comments about his sexuality, some teasing from his brothers, and lots of paparazzi. You know, nothing strange at all. But a fight with his father made Jason storm out of the restaurant, down an alleyway, and suddenly his life isn't the usual anymore. He woke up in an unfamiliar dark room, and a handsome boy opened his door to explain. The snowy-haired genius was holding him captive until he got what he wanted. Life couldn't be worse. Warning: This book contains mental issues such as depression, schizophrenia, and others. If you're sensitive to that kind of thing, then you should probably think twice before reading this. Of course, if you want to read it and you're sensitive, I'm not stopping you. This book only touches upon the subjects; It doesn't go deep into suicide attempts and voices. Remember despite the hate these mental illnesses receive, I believe you. Mental illnesses are no joke, they're not something I try to use for views. I am not hating on the illnesses. I know it's hard, but they are relevant to the book so I had to include them. If you're feeling depressed, please talk to a counsellor. Or, if you're too scared for that, I'll happily listen and give you advice. Thank you! (I needed to include this because I didn't want people thinking I thought the mental illnesses were stupid. I don't, I promise. I love you, and I need you to keep fighting!)

When Alex stumbles across a man in town wearing a blindfold, holding a sign that says, 'You are not alone. If you need a talk or a hug. I am here.' He takes it upon himself to approach the stranger. Was this the sign he has been looking for? - River has been a mental health advocate for three years. With his own demons battled, he takes it upon himself to support others. More specifically strangers. He has always found peace in helping those who suffer in silence. When River is approached by a man who expresses his depressive tendencies, he decides to take the broken stranger for coffee, out of fear of what might happen if he lets him go. River tells him to offload, release all the sadness and frustration he has into someone who knows nothing about him. But when he leaves, River can't stop thinking about him. It's not until Alex comes back a few months later to thank him for listening when he needed help the most. Alex has a lot to thank for his signs from the universe.
