After her 18th birthday, Asteria wakes up in a different bed, a different room and a different world. A world ruled by kings, queens, wizards and magic. She then stumbles upon a dangerous wizard, dangerous enough that his name alone strikes terror into people's hearts.

In order for her to return to her world, she must rely on the wizard and his powers. As her journey on the other world prolongs, the kingdom's secrets become exposed, the truth about the wizard slowly unravels and she learns that love might just be the most dangerous curse of all.
