A vibrant singer who can only write melodies meets a reserved writer who can only write lyrics. Polar opposites yet the same, their talents and personalities are quickly drawn together to form a new star on the music sky. Hot-blooded Jennie Lin can only write melodies. Reserved Elise Jamieson can write anything but melodies. When their paths cross, it's the birth of something amazing. But when Elise joins Jen's band, Voice in the Crowd, as a co-songwriter and second vocalist, she has no idea what she's getting into: more fame than she ever hoped for, but also conflicts within the band, a battle against her own physical limitations, and increasing fan shipping. To say nothing of her own growing feelings for Jen, which may or may not be one-sided... Updates daily until it catches up with the Tapas publication, and Tuesdays and Saturdays afterwards!

SugarCOAT

Jamie has it all - depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and a hate for her endless acne. With no friends, a distant family, and a nonexistent love-life, Jamie has made it through her twenties by hanging onto her dream of becoming a professional singer. In the past, she was presented with opportunities, but her fear got the best of her. When a unique talent competition can help start her career, Jamie will either try again or move on for good. These days, adulthood can be summed up as a time in a person's life where many questions are asked, and the answers are either N/A or sugar-coated, leaving them to figure it out on their own. They say society has a low-attention span. They say people don't read these days. Would it be surprising that the answers to life could be found in a special book? From the author: I wrote this story in hopes of helping readers face their fears, issues, past, etc. Even though life is hard at times, never stop asking questions and never settle for any answer. Your life matters, and you are loved more than you know. I hope you read this story to the very end. Thank you!
