This is how I think Allegiant should have ended. They deserved a life. And family. They went through too much. So here is my idea of how it should have ended:
Tris prior survived the weapons lab and tobias saved her. What will they do now? Will they live in peace now that the factions have been reinstated? What happens when a new group called the defiant start preparing fOr a war? The friends and family they thought dead start showing up alive. How? Who else is alive? What happens when a little bit of family shows up in tobias' life. What happens when a girl shows up tris never thought she would meet? Can they really trust the defiant? What will tris and Tobias do now that they also have a family to look after. Can they ever really be safe?

So, the ending to Allegiant sucks tremendously. I mean countless tissue boxes have been wasted while reading it. So I have created an alternate ending. Veronica Roth is the author of this wondrous story line, and sadly I'm a homily fan girl. I'm not the best writer so there's grammar and spelling issues, HUGE ALLEGIANT SPOILERS! Have you ever wondered what Divergent would be like if told by the character of Tobias Eaton? What would be his views of the Dauntless initiation? What would he think about Tris, about society? This story is the first novel of the Divergent series written by Veronica Roth, only in Four's Point of View. Transcendent
We all know what happens at the end of Allegiant,right. Well what would have happened if Tris didn't die but was saved by a secret government organisation. Under a new name and a new appearance, Tris must travel back to Chicago if she is to stop a reckless serial killer. But when she finds out Tobias has moved on, and with someone she would have never expected, everything comes crashing down. But will she stay in order to protect the ones she loves and herself? This is an alternative ending to Allegiant. I own none of the original characters as the amazing Veronica Roth does. But some are a figment of my imagination. Allegiant - alternate ending
The Allegiant ending was not so bad but it made me empty. There were two reasons why I did not like it. Firstly the sacrifice as it is now seems useless to me. For Caleb it was more another grief than help (not thinking about Four...). And the second is the fact that they still didn't solve anything. There was no use of her divergence, if this did not help the word to become better, to find a solution for all these people from the fringe ... I really don't think that her mother would be happy is the story would ended like this. All characters all belong to Veronica Roth, but I changed/added some parts! At the beginning I did only minor changes in existing chapters, but then everything is new. THIS STORY CONTAINS ALLEGIANT SPOILERS! Thank you so much for the reads, votes, and comments!!! Allegiant Alternate Ending
Like so many others, I was not happy with the way Allegiant ended. I thought Veronica Roth did a beautiful job of writing Tobias's perspective after Tris's death, but I felt like her death was meaningless because it could have been avoided. Having her die because she forgot her gun in the hallway was an insult to her character. Tris was way too smart for that. I needed their happy ending as well as one that did the characters justice. Tris Is Alive
What if Tris didn't die in Allegiant but everyone else thinks she's dead. What will she do now that she has survived? Will she ever find her way back to Tobias? Allegiant's "Actual" Ending
This is an alternate ending to Allegiant to replace the tragic original. I’ve used as much original material possible and what I can to make it the best it can be. I think I’ve succeeded in making sure everything is as realistic, for the characters, as possible and given closure. I love Divergent and I hope you'll love my version of the end of the book.
