The barrier has been broken for a few years now, monsters tensely coexisting with the humans. With the new influx of magic there's been a few cases of dormant mages waking up. Good or bad, humans were almost as tense with them as they were the monsters.
Prostitute and part-time barista turned mage, Adelaide has got to adjust to the influx of magic around and her new found powers. When a group of monsters stumble into her life it only complicates things. Shes got to face personal demons and trauma but this time shes not alone. What's in store for her?
