"Out of Sight" - A Senior Year Tribute

As a final for a class I took this spring, we were required to create a project that had something to do with poems since we had spent a unit reading a book that was made of them. One of the options was to write a book of poems with a brief Author's Statement to go with it. As soon as I saw this option I was like 👀, of course I'm doing that one; creativity and all that. But then quarantine happened and my teacher essentially shut down the assignment, so my hard work (and venting) never got to be seen. So, I have decided to put my short book of poetry on here. Even if no one reads it, at least I'll have a virtual print of it that I can look back on when I want to.
