Ever since Izuku Midoriya joined U.A. High School and settled in, he knew that the League of Villains were after him and his quirk: One For All. However, when the time comes when Bakugo is the target and is only seconds away from being captured, Midoriya throws himself in the chaos and ends up saving Bakugo, only at the cost of his own safety as he is captured instead. Midoriya is brought back to the League of Villains' hideout and with him there, Shigaraki plans on changing the young boy's mindset and plans to use force against him. When Midoriya isn't able to escape for three years and no one can seem to find him, he begins to lose hope and his wounds only bleed more. Even when he goes back in time with the help of a pro hero's quirk, he is diagnosed with depression and struggles to go on through life. He doesn't feel like himself. He needs someone. He needs someone so badly. But what if there isn't anybody to help Midoriya? How will Midoriya cope when someone close to him dies right in his arms? Warning! Midoriya Izuku was ambitious. He always pushed until he fell. He never gave up, not once did he fall and stay down. Not even when his idol told him that his dream was illogical--that in reality he will only get in the way. So he made a set of recordings and set up an anonymous channel. He approached many people and asked them variants of the same question: "Can a quirkless person become a hero?" No matter the answer though, he was broken inside. His dreams and hopes were shattered a long time ago. But he isn't ready to take a swan dive just yet. He wants to meet one person who will tell him that he is not useless. That he can be a hero. And after that moment, he will decide if he's ready to take a swan dive off the roof of a building or not. Some of the chapters will be quite triggering. I will put a warning beside each chapter title that includes detailed descriptions of triggering topics. The characters do not belong to me, only the plot. Eiko Chihara and Izuku Midoriya had been inseparable as kids, bonded by their shared dream of becoming heroes together one day. But everything changed when Eiko's father, a beloved Pro Hero, was killed in a villain attack before her first year in junior high. After witnessing and experiencing her father's gruesome death, her grief consumed her and by the end of the year, she had pushed everyone away-including Izuku. Determined to follow her father's footsteps and become a hero he could've been proud of, Eiko buried herself in her studies and quirk training, shutting off her emotions to the outside world and focusing solely on getting into U.A. She succeeded through recommendations but entered class 1-A a guarded and distant version of the girl she used to be. Seeing Izuku again was very unexpected but it sparked awkward conversations and fleeting glances that reminded them both of the bond they once shared.
