HI. My name is Embryss Navae Johnson. But I go by Embryss, or just Em. I am 15 years old and I have seen and been through things that you couldn't even BEGIN to imagine. 

My dad killed my mom when I was only 5, I was forced to watch. 

When I was 6, the beatings began. Then came being locked in the basement - no food, no water. If I was good, I would get one piece of bread, one small cup of water

at 7, the beatings continued.

at 8 years old, the cops finally arrested my dad. I was sent to an orphanage. and I have been in the system since. Never been adopted. Truth be told, not entirely sure I want to be.
