The Heirs (Unedited)
I'll be writing this book based on the popular Korean Drama, 'The Heirs'. *Update* This book was originally meant for the 30 Days Writing challenge in 2016 but clearly I didn't do it very well, and slow updates are my thing now. So please be patient as I'll be back in just a few weeks to update again! The #30DaysWritingChallenge is where writers take the pledge to write a book of at least 10,000 words over the next 30 days (for the month of december). It is some kind of a irony since I have books concerning '30 Days' and I've recently posted an alternate ending for the sequel, do read it if you have the time. ;) The book/story will be based on TV shows/Movies/etc you enjoyed but wished the ending was different in one way or another, thus, this is my version of the ending for 'The Heirs'. There'll be a more detailed introduction for this book in the first part, and the words in that part shall not be counted to fulfill my pledge of 10,000 words. A New Perspective
My family and I never stayed in one place for more than a year, I've seen more of the world in my short time than most people will see in their entire lives. Because of that I've never had a chance to make friends or be a true kid. Music and Books were my escape, my safe haven. When my dad told me we were moving again I expected the same old routine. I wasn't expecting much, but I never would have expected my life to take a turn like this... I know it needs a lot of editing, so please bare with me lol! I will eventually get to doing it, promise! The Favorite- Front Man x Reader- Squid Game
Counts Total words: 120,757 Average words per chapter: 1,589 Amount of chapters: 76 ~~~ Y/N is a girl from America who recently moved to South Korea. She's just getting settled in when she meets an interesting salesman. He tells her that she can play games for money. Making a little money won't hurt... or will it? She'll find out when she decides to join the games. She may also find more than wealth and death in the walls. Maybe she'll find love. This story is a slowburn that includes some enemies to lovers themes/undertones. The reader is female! ~~~ NOTES/ANNOUNCEMENTS/WARNINGS: When Y/N is in the games, I basically follow everything in Squid Game Season One, but I changed a few quotes and events to better suit this book and the inclusion of Y/N. The only trait I have assigned to Y/N is her player number: 055. You can imagine something else though! It won't be very important later on. Some possible triggers including: recurring PTSD, grief, mental breakdowns, drinking, hangovers, very brief sexual assault, detailed sexual assault, etc. More time-specific warnings will be present with the start of each chapter. No warnings = nothing I think will be particularly bad. There's strong language and constant mentions of death as almost this entire story is hosted in a facility that runs death games. Season 4 AND 5! I can't stand the fact we wont (as for now) be having new episodes to look forward to so I've written my own version of how I would do it. This is based off of L.M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables and the Netflix adaptation Anne with an "E." I do not own anything!! I've tried my best to make it as similar to the writing of the show and characters. I know I'm still a long shot off, but I didn't try to divert from the original lessons, tasks, morals, etc. I'd love some feedback on how to improve!Terminé
